Our Teachers

Learn Play Grow Academy’s teachers are certified with their 45 early childhood hour credentials. All staff members have a complete background check and their certificates in CPR & First Aid. Our teachers participate in ongoing professional development to ensure they are completely up to date with the most recent legislation and best teaching practices.

Meet Our Owners

Vivian Lizotte

Hello, my name is Vivian Lizotte, and I am an owner and the director of Learn Play Grow Academy. I have been married for 32 years and have three daughters. I am also a grandma of two beautiful grandbabies. My love for teaching led me to the decision to purchase a school in July of 2020. Learn Play Grow Academy was started in a Clearwater neighborhood of Florida to meet the needs of the growing community around me. I understand the importance that early childhood education has on future success in school and in life. It has always been a goal of mine to educate children at my own preschool. I have fulfilled my goal, and I am looking forward to making a positive impact on the preschool-aged children enrolled in Learn Play Grow Academy.

Rachael Lizotte Menden

Hi, my name is Rachael Lizotte Menden, and I am an owner of Learn Play Grow Academy. I am married and I have 2 children, a daughter, and a son. I was born and raised in Clearwater, Florida. I graduated in 2015 with an Associate of Science degree. I also have extensive educational preparation and practical experience in childhood growth and development. I have retained a lot of knowledge from my involvement as an early childhood educator in other preschools. From an early age, teaching preschool aged children has always been a passion of mine. Having young children of my own has really inspired all the components shown throughout our school. I am excited to offer a highly individualized play-based preschool program to the community.
